Jnanodaya Central School, Chengal, Kalady inaugurated on 2005, is managed by congregation of the Mother of Carmel (CMC). It is a Christian Minority School with all the privileges that accure from such status.

OUR ADMISSION POLICY

Jnanodaya Central School is a co-educational institution and admission is opened to all without distinction of caste and creed. The minimum age required for admission to L.K.G. is 4 years on 1st June of the respective year.

L.K.G. Admission is conducted through personal conversation and observation of the child in October to check whether he / she can cope up with the syllabus. The application form for the selected students can be obtained from the school office on the day of admission which is published on the notice board.

Admission to other classes will depend on the availability of seats. It is based on oral and written test. At the time of admission Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate and Mark sheet of the previous school should be submitted.

WITH DRAWALS

The prescribed form of Transfer Certificate should be filled by the parents or guardians.

If a student is not going to continue in the school for the following academic year he/she must inform it in the school office. Otherwise T.C. will be issued only on payment of 1st term fees.

All dues must be cleared before the T.C. is issued.
CURRICULUM

The school follows the curriculum and syllabi of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. The medium of instruction is English. Hindi and Malayalam are the additional languages taught. There will be mid term test.
